Title: Yorkshire Mist, Wath, Nidderdale
These barns are at Wath, just up the dale from Pateley Bridge. The meadows were at their summer best and gave a great opportunity to use wet-in-wet watercolour technique to suggest the soft grasses and misty background.
It’s painted using professional quality watercolour on Saunders Waterford 140lbs paper. The picture is mounted on Daler Studland mountboard and comes encased in a cellophane wrapper. I post all my works in stiffened envelopes. The size given is for the artwork only; add another 12 cm to the height and width for when mounted.
