Title: On the Edge, Dallowgill
This is one of the sheep farms at the top of Dallowgill, “on the edge” of Kirkby Moor. It’s a bleak, hard beauty, even on a sunlit day in Spring! I sketched it on location and then developed this watercolour in my studio.
It’s painted using professional quality watercolour on Saunders Waterford 140lbs paper. The picture is mounted on Daler Studland mountboard and comes encased in a cellophane wrapper. I post all my works in stiffened envelopes. The size given is for the artwork only; add another 13 cm to the height and width for when mounted.
