Title: A Winter’s Walk near Bowness
This is near Loughrigg in the Lake District and was inspired by a winter romp with the dog. I love those slate cottages and enjoyed using the ink pen to define the texture of the walls. Then some nice wet washes were used to depict the wet road and mossy walls.
It’s painted using professional quality watercolour on Saunders Waterford 140lbs paper. The picture is mounted on Daler Studland mountboard and comes encased in a cellophane wrapper. I post all my works in stiffened envelopes. The size given is for the artwork only; add another 12 cm to the height and width for when mounted.
