A night of heavy snowfall in the North Pennines, cut off, with all the roads under a blanket of snow. You know life is made a little easier when you hear the welcome rumble and flashing lights of The Snowplough. This is the road just behind my cottage, my regular route into the forest.. even in the snow!

This is an original watercolour, painted on 300gsm Saunders Waterford® High White watercolour paper, with paints from the Winsor and Newton professional watercolour range. This combination offers excellent protection against discolouration, and will maintain true permanence where the colours won’t change or fade over time.
