Title: Stringlia Tree
This piece is built around a lovely shaped twig that I found in my garden. It’s branches were too big to be woven on tulle, so instead I used invisible thread to tie it in, then added birch twigs and Stringlia flowers to build the tree shape. The piece is very 3D and when viewed from the side you can clearly see that the pieces are not joined together, but when viewed head-on the pieces come together to form a cohesive tree.
