Title: Gunnerside Gill, Swaledale
The old stone bridge, sitting at the confluence of two streams under the ruins of Blakethwaite mine. Now covered in rustic charm as the ageing stonework and hillside scars fade back into the landscape. Nature has softened the edges of what used to be hard and dangerous work. I love walking along the river from Gunnerside village to Blakethwaite, so it was no surprise to find myself one day sketching the old stone bridge when we stopped for sandwiches and a flask of coffee.
Produced on 310gsm Hahnemühle Archival paper using LUCIA pigment inks, this print is an excellent reproduction of the original painting. Fine detail is captured down to the tiniest brushstrokes and there is a pronounced depth and accuracy of colour. Available to purchase unframed, mounted or framed from my website, meganyoungfineart.com
⦁ Print run of 200
⦁ Individually signed and numbered
⦁ Certificate of Authenticity
