Walking around the small woodland area near my mum’s home in Blackburn, Lancs, I rested under this tree and the view I had through the branches is what I tried to capture here. As you look at the picture, your imagination is led through the vibrant orange, turquoise and brown colours and the integrated, twisted forms of the branches to create a moment in time in late summer, early autumn when the weather is still sunny but getting cooler.
