Title: Snowy Winter in Gledhow Woods, Leeds
On my usual daily walks through these woods, I took a photo of a part of these woods that had a large build up of snow. I loved the serenity of the image and that’s why I painted this in oils. On first glance it’s just a couple of colours, brown and white, but on closer inspection, the green of the moss still appears through on the branches and trunks of the trees. I loved this colour combination.
