Title: ‘Grace’ – Heron
I called this painting of a Heron in flight ‘Grace’ because to me the shape of the bird, it’s large wingspan and the movement across the sky is one of the most graceful things I’ve ever seen. The Heron also symbolises nobility, longevity, intelligence, and independence. It also signifies self-reliance, stability, tactfulness and careful forethought. All these things are what I’m trying to achieve personally and so a Heron has a lot of meaning for me at this stage of my life and may have for others who like this beautiful bird.
