Hi!

I’m Chris, a North Yorkshire based doodle artist and this is me 🙂

‘A Doodle Story Art’ is a collection of artwork I have created using my unique style of doodling. I love integrating geometric shapes with lines, dots and free flowing doodles to create landscapes, images and generally wherever the doodle takes me.

I describe my work as ‘a journey of absent minded scribbling’ which I feel encompasses what I aim to do pretty well…as this has actually been a real life journey for me!

By day I deliver art workshops and create events for young people across North Yorkshire using the arts as a vehicle for positivity and engagement.

Art is basically my safe place! It allows me to be mindful, colourful (at times, I do enjoy black and white though!) and expressive. It makes me feel like myself. I work out of a little studio and personal gallery in Richmond, North Yorkshire and I’m always happy to meet customers and discuss anything art, sports or chat rubbish 😁

A Doodle Story was nothing I ever expected to create…nor did I plan to! It was like a new beginning for me, a platform to channel my own emotions into the only thing that ever allowed me to feel truly free. Creating ‘A Doodle Story’ has helped me to overcome some real adversities in my life and I’ll be forever thankful for it.

Outside of the art, I have a loving family, beautiful young children, I LOVE SPORT and I’m lucky enough to run some amazing small businesses that I really love!
