I wanted to create a punk ethic to this piece. Raw edgy mixed with ambient background. Using markers across an oil painting then Acrylic paint across that surface. Causing a noticeable dissonance between the juxtaposed styles. The geometry is treated heavy handed, heavy steel girders running through the piece. Bold colour choices for the geometric shapes. The foreground sits heavily, angrily upon an ambient treated background.
