This painting was made on multiple layers, using different techniques. I was listening to Frank Zappa’s One Size Fits All album, which in turn has complicated multiple layers of sounds, weird timing structures and humour. Indeed, the colours of Discombobulation Nation are influenced by the rhythm of the sound: some bright angular notes with some very complicated, intricate.
