Title: St. Abbs (Water Colour)

Spent the summer at Reston just a short distance from St.Abbs and visited it often to catch crabs, see Thor’s house and paint with my daughter and grand daughter. I was very torn between spending days at this harbour or Eyemouth where I have made paintings before, but gave in to the temptation of the best fish and chips ever at Giacopazzi’s Eyemouth. (eat your heart out Rick Stein). I was please to see a fishing boat ‘Good Fellowship’, that I have painted several times in Seahouses and I believed it had gone to fishing boat heaven a long time ago. There it was, at Eyemouth, looking good, and moored almost alongside the chip shop. I first came across’Good Fellowship’ at Seahouses many years ago and I made several paintings of men carrying out repairs under the stern.
