“Don’t Be Jelly”

My boyfriend told me a story about when he went canoeing at a place by the sea, he was paddling along and all of a sudden thousands of jellyfish appeared beneath him. All he could think were ‘I hope I don’t fall in’.

It is finished with a super glossy varnish so every time you walk past it, it will twinkle at you. Maybe remember a time when you have seen jellyfish.

Painted on canvas in layers of blue dots, this was a very timely process as I wanted to get the colours right to create dimension.
