Zoe Lord
Having never studied art at university or had an art based career, art is still something that has always been part of my life. Being naturally creative I have painted for fun, for friends and family as gifts and to mindlessly while away many many hours. But a year or so ago I begin to take my art a bit more seriously, through developing my skills through practice and experimenting, exhibiting locally and by starting a small business and just generally putting myself out there. My husband kindly built me a little ‘she shed’ in our garden, which is where I do my painting and escape from teenage daughters. I mainly paint in acrylic but dabble in other mediums and I enjoy painting from nature.
