Dick Gillon produces wood turned items in his workshop situated at 1200ft in beautiful Swaledale in the heart of The Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Each piece of work is unique. All turned items are made from native woods including ash ,beach, elm ,oak and yew.
Much of Dick`s work is influenced by his background in ceramics, producing both decorative and functional pieces.
Some of Dick`s products are complimented by felt produced by Libby his wife, a felter, with whom he shares his workshop.
