I am “The Wandering Nib”: a Yorkshire based artist specialising in monochromatic line-work landscapes, portraits and, recently, pet drawings.

I am a recent addition to the world of fine art having trained and worked mostly in the graphic design field for many years. Drawing is my passion and I am truly at peace and in my element when pen in hand in front of a nice crisp sheet of paper!

I like to portray places of interest in an unusual way. I feel the technique I use conveys the subject in a dramatic and thought-provoking light and I feel the simplicity of my approach to the medium is key to the impact of my visual expression.

I also have a passion for small publications. Namely “Paper Jamm”, these are silly and sometimes outlandish stories and illustrations made into little “zines” which are also on sale through my Etsy. I will soon be extending this venture into more ambitious publishing projects which are already in development!
