This print is of Whitby, a lovely, interesting, historical town on the north Yorkshire coast. It’s got everything as a setting for a landscape piece, old abbey on top of the hill, red roofs, busy old houses climbing up a hill, rippling sea and gulls flying over it all. So this one was a fun landscape to draw and print.
This screenprint was done by myself, Leeds based illustrator Simon Lewis, in 2018.
It’s a 5 colour screenprint, each layer colour comes from a detailed drawing.
