Title: the Tiled Hall Cafe
The Tiled Hall Cafe is a wonderfully decorated room in the Leeds Art Gallery/Library building. An amazing combination of coloured tiles covers the walls and ceiling making it one of the most beautiful and popular settings in Leeds and a great inspiration to do a screenprint from. IT was 7 screens in the end, and probably my most complex screenprint yet.
This screenprint was done by myself, Leeds based illustrator Simon Lewis, in 2016.
It’s a 7 colour screenprint, each layer colour comes from a detailed drawing.

As these are original screenprints there may be very slight variations from the photo.
