Title: Reflections
This was a commission painted from two separate photos. People say that it is difficult to paint black dogs, I used the reflections as a ‘Road Map’ to help me get the highlights, features and different tones.
I used pastels, pastel pencils and charcoal on a sanded paper which is amazing for putting in whiskers and detail in the eyes.
