This painting is for all of us who value empathy, kindness and love above all else.

I look at what is unfolding in the world with horror and despair, but equally I see such determined bravery, love and kindness, that I know there is still so much hope.

I look at my teenager who inspite of her own challenges, shows so much compassion and advocacy for the voiceless and I feel the next generation deserves more respect than we give them.

I see all of the goodness, kindness and compassion out there, and just refuse to give in to the hatred and evil that infects our world.
