Title: Meandering Home
This view was a favourite walk of mine, on the edge of the village where I lived for over 16 yrs in Highland Perthshire. I so love the view, from the narrow path across the fields. To the left the trees border the River Tay (famous for its salmon fishing), to the right a cluster of houses, just visible. The farm track across the patchwork of fields leads the eye ahead to the distant hills. Blues, greens, yellows.
Acrylic on Arches paper and is Mounted and framed in a broad light wood frame. Strung, ready to hang.
This painting is currently on show at the Crossley Gallery, Dean Clough, Halifax – 150th Anniversary Exhibition of Leeds Fine Artists. Open daily 10 – 4.
