Title: Fluted bowl with tripod base
This bowl was created by hand building a cone in rustic clay, pinching the base to form three legs and then “adjusting” the bowl walls and rim to create a regular wave pattern. It was then glazed in layered rutile and speckle glazes with a deep brown glaze applied heavily on the rim and knocked down to form vertical trails.
