Simon Lewis
Title: Ferrybridge
Ferrybridge is a power station based where the M62 and the A1 cross. It’s a very imposing landmark which has been recently decommissioned, gradually demolishing each of the towers.
The artwork was done by myself, Leeds based illustrator Simon Lewis, in 2016.
It has 7 colours, each layer colour comes from a detailed drawing with added brushstrokes, making it a very time consuming process, but one which I think gives the final image more depth and vibrancy.

As these are original screenprints there may be very slight variations from the photo.
