This is an original pastel and it is one of a series of paintings I’ve done of my Iris collection. I started collecting Irises years ago and then every year I’d exhibit at Chelsea Flower Show I’d add to my collection . As I had to shield during covid I started to study and record in paintings all the different plants in my garden. I enjoyed thus process so much I have continued it. Naples is one of the most recent additions to my collection.
