Why Blue?
Blue is the colour of the ocean. Being near or in the ocean can make you happier and healthier. Humans, when around water feel an immeasurable sense of peace. Which is important when being in the over-stimulated state of modern life. I strive to bring the calming colour of blue into your home for a relaxing atmosphere.
Painted in layers of dots in tones of ultramarine blue. Lighter and darker shades where added to create dimension. The shades of blue were all mixed using Ultramarine Blue by Golden. All coloured used where White, Black and Ultramarine blue.
Painted on 16 x 16 inch canvas.
