Jo Selwyn-Smith. Painter and Maker
Jo has been painting and making things from his studio and workshop based high above Swaledale for more than ten years.

He studied drawing, painting and printmaking at Isleworth Polytechnic and Product design at Ealing School of Art during the 1970s.

He paints in oils on wooden panels and canvas and makes furniture out of oak.

His paintings are based on what he can see from his home on the high moors above Swaledale and depict the effect the ever changing weather has on the landscape.
