Hi I am Jackie Stubbs, known as wacky Jackie to many people! I moved to Richmond North Yorkshire in 2010 and I am proud to say that I was the 1st landlady of the George and dragon pub in Hudswell, Yorkshires 1st community owned pub the 2nd pub in the UK to be saved from permanent closure – as seen on TV – The Dales with Adrian Edmondson.

I paint for pleasure and to lift a smile.

Officially diagnosed with MS in 2011 I sadly had to retire from the pub.

I picked up a paint brush for the first time in over 25 years to make a gift for a friends birthday and it ignited my creative side. living with MS, painting helps in many ways. never had an art lesson except at secondary school but I learn as I go. I have done a few wall murals locally, my daft sheep appear on bus stop shelters, commercial property and homes in the Richmond area.
