Hi, I’m Fiona – and I’m thrilled to invite you into my creative world. My art is all about bringing imagination to life through abstract and semi-abstract creations. I work with mixed media and acrylics, building layers and layers of paint, textures, and intuitive markings to create pieces that hopefully speak to your soul, and make you at peace and calm when you look at them.

Nature is my biggest inspiration – I love going for outdoor walks with my dog. I have a great love for trees, their shapes, colours and the feeling of them being connected to something greater. A lot are there long before we are born and long after we go too, that I find fascinating, what stories they could tell?

Based in Leeds for the past 26 years, I was born in Lancashire, raised in Yorkshire, and I’m proudly half Scottish too. I am a graphic designer, and after more than 30 years in that world, I’ve decided to add painting to my creativity, so here I can let loose on the canvas and have more creative freedom.

Through my work, my goal is to take you on a journey. I hope for you to feel some emotion, memory, healing, strength, a connection when you look at my art. I wish for you to look and discover your own story reflected back at you.
