Alison Flowers

My paintings are inspired by time spent in solitary natural spaces and the restorative effect being away from it all has on my interior landscape. Through colour, marks and combining different media I work in the studio evoking memories and use photographs, sketches and mixed media experiments as a springboard for paintings that emerge.
