Natalie Jane

I’m a queer artist living and working in Colne Valley, West Yorkshire. I typically use oil pastels or wax pastels to create illustrations of natural forms inspired by the landscapes surrounding me. I experiment with colour as a way of appreciating nature, whilst knowing that I can never fully replicate it’s beauty. I like the freedom of using any colour and expressing what I see through wild mark making.

In spite of this, I ask you to ignore my infantile writing style and try to absorb the words regardless. Issue two is the mortifying ordeal of being known by somebody other...more
