After reading the story ‘The man who planted trees’ I decided to spend some time in nature, where I realised quite how repetitive nature is. For example, the leaves on trees, they seem the same from afar, however will all be unique upon taking a closer look. I came home and set to work drawing a tree using simple repetitive lines. I like to think that the recurring parts of nature act as a reminder that small, repeated and collective actions are the only thing that will save us from the climate crisis.
