Title: British Extracting Company silo – Hull
A big ol’ drawing of this very impressive industrial building. It’s a huge grain silo in Hull, one of 2 (the other is about a mile away from this one). Now unused, but listed thankfully, it is huge, and dominates the skyline. The staircase you can see going all the way to the top is (scarily) known as ‘the stairway of death’! Great fun to draw, took around 60 hours!
The original drawing is about 60x60cm, done in 2023.
