My dad’s passing was the inspiration behind this painting. A large painting which shows the Crimple Valley Viaduct in Harrogate and this was the view from his room at Saint Michael’s Hospice. The blossoms signify new beginnings and the steam train carries dad’s initials as he goes on his final journey. A piece he never saw but I’m sure he would have loved it. Donated to Saint Michael’s as a thank you for the wonderful work they do there.
