Helen Hardy Art

Helen Hardy Art is over 6 years old and is based in Eaglescliffe, where I live with my husband and two boys. I work with textiles and pen illustrations. Both completely different in style and self taught. My textile work is focused around colours, wildlife, nature and freemotion embroidery. The technique is best described as drawing with a sewing machine, adding a touch of fabric or wool to enhance. My illustrations are black and white and more contemporary in style, focusing on architecture, buildings and structures of cities and places. This has produced a range of coasters, teatowels etc. Commissions are welcome and my work can be found over the NorthEast at events I attend or in gallery, exhibitions or gift shops. Always open to being contacted and I can be found on Etsy, Instagram and Facebook.
