I am a Leeds-based artist specialising in pencil-drawn landscapes of the Yorkshire countryside. I have always loved monochrome art and the striking effects that can be achieved from such a simple medium. I like to work small and precisely with a sharp pencil and my drawings are confidently understated in size but are filled with detail, depth and texture.
I aim to demonstrate that pencil is more than a starting point for a sketch, but is an exciting and versatile medium that can be used to create entire pieces of work.
