I make handthrown stoneware pottery, finished with homemade glazes made from local natural materials foraged in the Yorkshire Dales. My glazes are inspired by this beautiful and unique landscape, and the natural colours reflect the geology, flora and fauna of the Dales.

As a 'small batch' potter I make by commission, unless you live locally to visit some of the lovely shops where I stock my pottery! If you would like to commission a piece or collection, please contact me directly. Each handthrown piece is unique and the natural glazes offer beautiful variation.

I am an accidental potter. I studied Spanish and Intercultural Studies for my undergraduate degree and Rural Development for my Masters! I took a Ceramics 101 course at the end of my bachelor degree in 2005, and fell in love with ceramics. Since that time, I have made use of every opportunity possible to practice pottery, learn from the masters and improve my skills... in northern Japan, in the backwoods of New York State, in Yorkshire. Following the birth of our first daughter, and thanks to the support and encouragement of my husband, I started a pottery of my own!

I am a proud member of the Heritage Crafts Association, which is dedicated to supporting and promoting traditional living heritage crafts and recognised by UNESCO Convention for Intangible Heritage.
