A weekend, two day introduction to various approaches to working in colour with intaglio printing (chine collé, coloured inks, aquatint and post-colouring). As well as looking in focus at a variety of artists and investigating their methodologies, participants will also experiment with multiple methods of applying colour, developing designs and printing proofs throughout the day.
Your tutor: Ellen Burroughs
Ellen Burroughs is an artist, printmaker and educator. With over 7 years experience teaching printmaking and bookbinding in Further and Higher Education, she has worked with museums, galleries and community organisations nationwide.
