Henshaws is hugely excited to announce our Artmaker Symposium and Festival on 8-9th July 2022. We have gathered together artists and facilitators within the field of Disability Arts to come and talk, exhibit and celebrate the Arts. We hope you will come and join us over the 2-day festival!
The festival begins on Friday 8th July at 4.30pm- expect talks from amazing guest artists and facilitators in the field of Disability Arts, as well as the opening preview of the festival and exhibition.
On Saturday 9th July, you’ll be able to wander around the gardens and view some more art – including the ‘Take a Chair’ exhibition. There will be music from the Henshaws Hot Spots and Rory Hoy.
There is also the opportunity to take part in a variety of workshops taught by the artmakers here at Henshaws, including paper making, Lino printing and Multi-Sensory Sand Art.
