Dales Inspiration
Following a successful Spring solo exhibition at The Station, Richmond this year, Angie Townsend a dales artist is returning to one of her favourite venues for her annual Summer exhibition.
Barningham Village Hall, Richmond, North Yorks DL11 7DN , will be filled once again with Angie’s vibrant colourful landscapes. She loves exhibiting at the hall because of the light, space and atmosphere it offers and is looking forward to welcoming old and new visitors alike.
Angie has always regarded Yorkshire as her ‘ spiritual ‘ home and her inspiration comes from walking in the stunning landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales and Teesdale.
Now retired from a long and varied career from teaching art / textile design at Richmond School, to garden design and writing, Angie has
now embraced retirement; enthusiastically engaged in her artistic pursuits.
This year alongside her exhibition, Angie is running a raffle in aid of The Ukraine Appeal and hopes that lots of people can come along and support it.
Businesses located in Barningham and Ravensworth have generously donated prizes.
The exhibition ‘ Dales Inspiration ‘ will run from Sat 20th – Sun 21st August, featuring more than 30 original paintings using acrylics.
Doors open at 10.30am until 4.00pm on both days.
Admission is FREE and light refreshments will be served in the Village Hall.
