The Yorkshire Arboretum is offering 50% off admission to all who visit between Friday 26th and Tuesday 30th November, to commemorate National Tree Week 2021.

National Tree Week is the UK’s largest annual tree celebration, running from Saturday 27th November to Sunday 5th December. Across the country, people will be planting thousands of trees to mark the start of the winter tree planting season. Visitors can purchase admission online through the arboretum’s website or pay on arrival.

Yorkshire Arboretum Director Dr John Grimshaw says: “We are delighted to offer free entry as we close out the 2021 season. National Tree Week is vital in raising awareness of the need to plant new trees and nurture those we already have. Following one of our tree trails is a great way to explore, and our interpretation boards contain more than a few surprising facts demonstrating just how important trees are to us.”
