Rachel has always enjoyed art although has no formal art training other than adult education classes. An enjoyable hobby became a career and now she has work published by National Trust, WHSmith and M&S among others. She works mostly in watercolour and paints many subjects including landscape, flowers and animals. Landscape paintings tend to be more detailed than the flower and animal subjects which often are quite loose and splashy.
She is a founder member of ArtistsAroundWetherby an open studios annual event taking place over two weekends in June,
