The colours here are magnificent and feature a crimson mixed with burgundy for the background, then a wash of Prussian blue, powder blue, turquoise, orange, and white. I also got my fingers involved at various points too (hence the texture in the negative space) – this is a trick to push paint into places it hasn’t gone already or to scoop up paint and redeploy it elsewhere.
