A colourful Springtime Yorkshire Dales walk through a gap in the stonewall. Follow the stepping stones past the daffodils up through the patterns of walls and up onto the Dale. I always look back and remember a view. This painting features bright deep textured daffodils which always make me smile.It is painted on board and showcased in an up-cycled dark wood frame.
I have also revisited this view in a summertime painting featuring Yorkshire Heather.
My paintings are created over a long period of time as I add many layers of oils. They are varnished to enhance the colours and I often add a splash of glitter.
