I make ceramics in stoneware and porcelain, often bound with driftwood or other found materials. Through my work, I explore ideas about damage, imperfection and strength, taking inspiration for colour and texture from nature and experimenting with the relationship between form and finish.

I enjoy the dynamic and fluid processes of throwing and turning, working with (and sometimes against!) the clay. Each piece is unique, using different glazes and materials as well as embracing the unpredictable nature of the firing process.
