My art is inspired by the beauty of nature, and I am particularly drawn to the bright colour combinations, shapes and patterns that nature gives to us. I want my art to reflect a sense of freedom, energy and calm that is found from being in natural environments, as well as represent all the amazing species that exist on earth.

When I create art, I feel a sense of home; an infinite sense of being where it becomes possible for me to express myself via movement, colours, shapes and patterns in a way that is not possible for me with words alone.

Depending on the subject matter and my experience of it, my art can either be very intuitive and organically created or carefully explored and measured in the approach. My work is mainly abstract in style and I use a mix of traditional and unconventional materials and methods to create my work.

The current conservation project I am supporting is the ‘SAVE LOS CEDROS CAMPAIGN’. The campaign supports preservation of the Los Cedros Biological Reserve in the cloud forests of Ecuador. I am particularly personally invested in this campaign as I have previously volunteered at the reserve and it is without a doubt one of the most beautiful and magical places I have ever visited.
