Hello, I’m Katherine…

I feel very fortunate to have been brought up here in beautiful North Yorkshire and now that I’ve returned with my own family I don’t need to travel far to find inspiration. My home, garden and the surrounding landscape provide a rich source of stimulation for my paintings.

I have recently discovered watermixable oil paints, which carry all the joy of the traditional medium but without the fuss and nasty fumes when it comes to cleaning up! I love to explore warm and cool colours to create depth in my smooth textured paintings and I am at my happiest pushing paint around the canvas!

I create original oil paintings, fine art prints and greeting cards. Commissioning original artwork is proving a popular gift often commemorating a treasured place or memory.
