Born and raised in West-Hull, Alicia is an aspiring animator and artist with varied creative visions. Like most artists, she ensures drive to create from things that inspires her. While currently studying a Foundation course at Wyke Sixth-Form College, she has devoted her upbringing to art across most medias.

Abbott’s Fine Art works tend to be based from fears, the most prime example being the harrowing collection ‘Pantomime Horse’, 2019 – 2020, featuring her largest to scale painting, ‘Blind of Ident’. The gallery takes the spectator through her intimidation of featureless faces. In this collection, Abbott works with a dull pallette, but is drawn to colder, blue hues.

Alicia Abbott also works in digital art, character design and illustration. She is usually creating fan drawn artwork for her favourite medias, this type of art helps to create a platform of followers online and provide spotlight for her own digital projects in development. For her A-Level Graphics coursework, she used digital software to redesign 80’s Children’s show: DangerMouse. Currently, Alicia is studying animation and creating an animation portfolio, which covers character design, storyboarding and animation fundamentals.
