We Beg to Differ is an exhibition of the work of Rosemary and Graham Firth
The exhibition will be held at Danum gallery library and museum (DGLAM) in Doncaster DN1 3BZ and runs between January 26th – April 11th 2026
The exhibition includes the Lino prints of Graham Firth, and the mixed media collages of Rosemary Firth.
‘We beg to differ’ brings together two very different styles, techniques and subject matter by this husband and wife team.
Graham’s Lino prints depict people going about their business, mainly in Doncaster Town Centre. Drawing onthe people who walk by as he sits in cafes, Graham turns these on- the- spot drawings into Lino prints full of character.
Rosemary’s collages and collagraphs are inspired by her love of rocks, waterfalls and forests. She works mainly with collagraph printmaking, but she also creates collages of her prints, all based on photos she has taken.
