Ferens Art Gallery Open Exhibition 2023 is Hull’s annual Open Exhibition, and returns to Ferens Art Gallery this year, with works by hundreds of local artists – from new and emerging talent to established pros, and runs from the 21st July 2023 to the 1st October 2023.
North Art Member Meg Huby will be amongst the exhibitors at this years exhibition. Her submission ‘Looking West’ was painted from the south bank of the River Humber, looking towards the Humber Bridge.
The annual Open Exhibition at the Ferens Art Gallery has celebrated the creativity of local amateur and professional artists since 1967. Each year the Open Exhibition provides an exciting opportunity for artists to display and sell artwork. Visitors can expect to see a fascinating array of artwork including impressive paintings, photography and textiles, as well as a number of striking sculptures and ceramics, most of which will be for sale.
